CD, DVD, AND BLU-RAY SELLING INFO
We selectively buy used CD's, DVD's, and Blu-Rays. Our buying process for CD's and movies is based on our current stock, and sales history for each individual item, as well as condition. We will examine every CD and movie that we buy. We can usually buy your CD's and movies while you wait, however, at busier times, or if you have a larger collection, you may have to wait a bit longer. You are always welcome to leave your collection with us and we will give you a call when we are ready to make you an offer. In some cases this may take up to 48 hours. We ask that you do not bring in items to sell after 6 pm.
VINYL SELLING INFO
We are always interested in taking a look at your unwanted records! We have a vinyl buyer on duty every day from Noon to 7 PM. However, we ask that you do not bring in items to sell after 6pm.
I only have a few records I want to sell, is that okay?
We buy collections of any size. Whether you are looking to sell two or three LP’s that you just don’t listen to anymore, or you are clearing out a storage space filled with vinyl, we are always happy to take a look at your records.
What styles of music do you buy?
We are always looking to buy LP’s and 45’s of the following styles and genres:
Rock, Pop, Soul, R&B, Blues, Jazz, Reggae, International, Punk, Metal, Psychedelic, Garage Rock, Hip Hop, Electronic, Country, Folk, Soundtracks, and beyond. Please bear in mind that hit records of the 70’s and 80’s sold millions of copies, and are often extremely common used records. Our buying staff will happily give you a breakdown of what dollar amount you are being offered for each record that you sell.
Are there any styles of music you DO NOT buy?
We rarely buy Classical, Vocal, Easy Listening, and Religious records. If you have a large collection in these genres and still want us to take a look, please call and speak to one of our buyers first. We do not buy 78’s.
What is the buying process and how long will it take?
We examine the condition of every record that we buy. We do not buy badly scratched records, or records with water damage of any kind. Most of the time we can do a buy in 30 minutes or less. However, at busier times, or if you have a larger collection, you may have to wait a bit longer. You are always welcome to leave your records with us and we will give you a call when we are ready to make you an offer. In some cases this may take up to 48 hours.
store to sell them?
We do 95% of our buying in the store. We always have trained buying staff on duty that will be more than happy to take a look at your records. However, we will happily travel to take a look at larger collections of great value, and will pay top dollar for rare and obscure vinyl.
